Our Director of IPE Engagement, Dr. Cynthia Dougherty, has been recently elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Social Work. A Distinguished Fellow within NAP is a high honor that acknowledges outstanding achievements and recognizes both profession-specific and interprofessional practice leadership. The new Class of 2023 NAP Fellows will be recognized in an induction ceremony as part of the Annual Meeting and Forum taking place in March 2023 in Washington, D.C. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Dougherty! We’re so thankful to have her as part of our team! For more information about NAP, or if you have a colleague you would like to nominate as a Distinguished Practitioner or Scholar, please contact Dr. Andrea Pfeifle.

We also extend our congratulations to the seven other NAP Distinguished Fellows being inducted into the 2023 cohort from Ohio State: Jennifer Brello, Cami Curren, Jackqueline Hoying, Alice Teall, Randee Masciola, Stephen McGhee, and Lisa Rohrig
