IPE Awards & Funding Opportunities for Educators
The following awards and funding opportunities spotlight and support Ohio State researchers and educators who go above and beyond to expand the interprofessional field—and pave a path toward equitable healthcare.

Excellence in Interprofessional Research Award
The Excellence in Interprofessional Research Award recognizes individuals or teams who have contributed significantly to the scholarship of interprofessional practice and education. Awards will be given in four categories: (1) educational research/scholarship of teaching and learning, (2) translational or bench research, (3) practice-based research, and (4) student research (students, residents, fellows).
Criteria: An affiliation with Ohio State (at least one member of the team) recognizes scholarship that has been shared externally through posters and podium presentations at state, national, or international meetings.
Nominators: Patients, community members, faculty, staff, practitioners, or fellow students can nominate for this award. Self-nominations are accepted.

BuckIPE Facilitator of the Year Award
The BuckIPE Facilitator of the Year Award recognizes the contributions of a facilitator in any setting whose commitment to the BuckIPE curriculum and core competencies positively impacts learners at any stage in their IPE growth trajectory.
Criteria: Demonstration of impact on student learning (# of nominations, student comments)
Nominators: Patients, community members, faculty, staff, practitioners, or fellow students can nominate for this award.
