The Ohio State IPE Registry is a database of interprofessional education (IPE) opportunities at The Ohio State University, including courses, modules, individual learning activities and extracurricular events.
All items in the registry meet specific criteria that have been established by The Ohio State University IPE Steering Committee:
- Involvement of learners from two or more professions, disciplines, degree programs, and/or community sectors.
- Learner performance next to at least one objective related to Ohio State’s interprofessional collaborative practice competencies is assessed, and learners are provided feedback.
- Learners actively learn about, from, and with each other, to improve health and healthcare outcomes for individuals, populations, and/or communities.
- Learning objectives are directly related to one or more of Ohio State’s interprofessional collaborative practice competencies (Values/Ethics for Interprofessional Practice, Roles/Responsibilities, Interprofessional Communication, Teams & Teamwork, Collaborative Leadership, Evidence-based Practice).
The Registry is accessible and searchable by students, staff and faculty at The Ohio State University. It has been used in the past for strategic planning, documentation and as a resource for both learners and faculty. In the future, the Registry will also form the basis for the menu0based IPE approach that some of our programs plan to move into (in whole or in part) beginning in fall 2026.
