The Office of IPE is proud to announce that three esteemed faculty members from the College of Pharmacy have been honored with awards for their exceptional contributions to teaching and facilitating the BuckIPE curricula. BuckIPE, Ohio State’s interprofessional practice and education program, is dedicated to preparing students to excel as healthcare professionals who can effectively collaborate.

Our facilitators engage with students from over 20 programs across several colleges within the university. During the BuckIPE Core experiences, these facilitators lead interprofessional teams of eight students through various experiences, teaching them about teamwork, collaborative practice, roles and responsibilities, and more. Facilitators play a crucial role in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring the benefits of working in interprofessional teams to maximize outcomes for patients and communities. They are integral to BuckIPE, embodying and promoting a culture of interprofessionalism.
