Upcoming IPE Module: Teams Advancing Health Equity

On October 20^th and 27^th, the Office of IPE will welcome back level 2 (second-year) learners with Teams Advancing Health Equity Team Event 2. At this event, students enhance their understanding of the social determinants of health and/or health and healthcare inequities that impact patient/client lives and begin to develop an appreciation for how interprofessional teamwork addresses these multi-faceted challenges. In the team events, students look at scenarios illustrating these concepts and interact with a standardized patient. Together, students collaborate to identify and address underlying factors to positively impact healthcare outcomes and patient experience. We look forward to the continued collaboration between learners, facilitators, and standardized patients.
