Makeup of Level 2 ( 2nd year)-Team Event 2: Teams Advancing Health Equity (Part 2)

In this two-part module, students enhance their understanding of the social determinants of health and/or health and healthcare inequities that impact patient/client lives and begin to develop an appreciation for how interprofessional teamwork addresses these multi-faceted patient/client needs.  In the team events, students look at scenarios illustrating these concepts and interact with a standardized patient. Together, students collaborate to identify and address underlying factors to positively impact healthcare outcomes and patient experience.​
