What happens when artificial intelligence moves from a simple tool to an active collaborative partner on your team? Join Ohio State experts Dónal O'Mathúna, PhD, College of Nursing and Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities, Kristin Henkaline, PhD, University Libraries and College of Education and Human Ecology, and Michael Flierl, MA, MSLIS, University Libraries and Office of Academic Affairs, for an insightful exploration into the evolving dynamic between human professionals and AI co-workers.

This panel explores the unique opportunities and complex challenges that arise when AI is integrated directly into interprofessional teams. Drawing on their combined expertise across bioethics, educational studies, research development, and academic affairs, the speakers will examine how AI co-workers are actively reshaping communication channels, critical decision-making processes, and workflow efficiency across multidisciplinary roles—and what teams must do to adapt successfully.
