The Quadruple Aim: Provider Well-being - October Community of Practice
This session, led by Laxmi Mehta, MD, Chief Well-Being Liaison and Faculty Director of the Gabbe Well-Being Office at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, will explore the direct connection between interprofessional education (IPE) and the provider experience.
The October session explores the direct connection between interprofessional education and the provider experience, a topic central to achieving the Quadruple Aim of healthcare (improving population health, enhancing the patient experience, reducing costs, and improving the work life of all healthcare providers). The fundamental goal of interprofessional education and practice is not only to improve patient care but also to significantly enhance the professional lives and well-being of healthcare providers. This discussion will show how fostering collaborative learning environments can be a powerful tool to address the pervasive challenges of provider burnout and dissatisfaction in healthcare.
This event, offered by the Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
It is virtual (via Zoom) and free to attend. Register here.
