Teams Advancing Health Equity Team Event 2 Sessions Make-Up: Level 2 Learners

Students enhance their understanding of the social determinants of health and/or health and healthcare inequities that impact patient/client lives and begin to appreciate how interprofessional teamwork addresses these multi-faceted patient/client needs. In the team events, students look at scenarios illustrating these concepts and interact with a standardized person. Together, students collaborate to identify and address underlying factors that impact healthcare outcomes and patient experience positively. Students practice providing peer feedback around select interprofessional collaborative practice competencies.
