Andrea Pfeifle addresses NAP attendeesThe Ohio State University continues to cement its position as a leader in interprofessional health care, with several faculty members recently inducted into the National Academies of Practice (NAP). The induction ceremony, held earlier this month in Indianapolis, Indiana, recognized these individuals for their exceptional contributions to health care practice, scholarship and policy.

Founded in 1981, NAP is a non-profit organization dedicated to advising governmental bodies on the health care system. It stands as the only interprofessional group where distinguished practitioners and scholars from across the health care spectrum are elected by their peers to support affordable, accessible and coordinated quality care for all.

Real-time collaboration

Call for contributors artworkBeyond celebrating our new inductees, Ohio State maintained a high-profile presence at the forum as a presenting sponsor and featured exhibitor. Our team was on-site not only to support the NAP mission but also to recruit creative collaborators for an exciting upcoming graphic novel project in partnership with UT Health. This innovative venture aims to use visual storytelling to further illustrate the impact of interprofessional teamwork on patient outcomes.

We look forward to our continued work together!
