Optometry Graduate Wins National Optometric Association Scholarship
Richard Wan, 2022 College of Optometry graduate and IPE Student Advisory Board alumnus, received a scholarship from the National Optometric Association in recognition of his service and commitment to advocacy for minority groups. Dr. Wan is currently working on a project to quantify productivity loss caused by an uncorrected refractive error in Ohio. His goal is to leverage this public health effort to justify the integration of vision services in FQHCs to improve health outcomes in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.
